This former photographer and hair stylist turned burlesque dancer from Hamburg, Germany is quite sought after. She is not only sought after for her stage performances but also as a singing show girl and pin-up model.
Belle La Donna was inspired at an early age by the likes of Marlene Dietrich, Marilyn Monroe, Mae West and Bettie Page. Sounds like pretty good company to us and Hamburg always had a deep appreciation of Rock and Roll and Bettie Page. After all, the Beatles performed there many times before making it big.
This photo set by KiWi la Fruit Fotografie shows a versatile Belle who can play many roles and look just a beautiful as she jumps from different styles and genres such as Boudoir, Rockabilly, Vintage, Retro, and Pin Up. Of all the German Pin Ups we have featured we have yet to get one of them to participate in our series “Cooking With A Pin Up.” Perhaps we can convince Belle La Donna to cook for us off stage as well.
Enjoy the gallery to the Garage Rockabilly sounds of the Bothers song “Dragonfly.”
