It’s funny how many Motörhead fans I talk to have never heard of Lemmy Klimister’s side project with Danny B Harvey and Slim Jim Phantom “The Head Cat.” The Rockabilly band was formed after they had helped with production of an Elvis tribute Album back in 2000. After recording this Lemmy picked up an acoustic guitar and started playing some of his favorite songs from Johnny Cash and Eddie Cochran.
It would seem only natural that they cut a few albums themselves. Along with Danny B Harvey of Lonsesome Spurs and the Rockats, and Slim Jim Phantom of the Stray Cats they cut some edgy rockabilly remakes.
