Legs Gallery 119 – With Buddy Holly’s “Oh Boy “

Legs and Nylons Gallery 120 (2)by Sad Man’s Tongue

Heartbeat why do you miss when I see those legs walking by. Perhaps Buddy Holly’s “Oh Boy” can help explain, but I think we already know the answer.

indexnThe song Oh Boy was recorded in 1957 and was played on Buddy Holly’s and the Crickets second and final show on Ed Sullivan in January 1958. Ed Sullivan did not want the song played because he thought it to be too raunchy, but holly insisted. Sullivan, perhaps intentionally, introduced Holly as Hollet and in the original video of the show you can see Holly trying to turn up his guitar which was set much lower.

I wonder what Ed Sullivan would have thought of our Legs Galleries?
