Prague’s 1st Winter Rockabilly Romp With Rockabilly Band “Slap Dash”

Saturday Janurary 14th, 2012 will be a night I will always remeber, at least the first part of it. Thanks to J&K Photo Alliance and  their pictures I will  remember the rest. The neo-Rockabilly band Slap Dash, out of the Czech Republic, absolutely Rocked the house, as guests dressed in their best Rockabilly attire literally danced the night away. Here is a taste of what you missed and a reminder if you had a bit too much to drink.

About Sad Man's Tongue: Rockabilly Bar & Bistro - Prague

We are a Bar and Bistro where old school meets the new school, dedicated to preserving the roots of rock and roll and it's modern adaptations as well as preserving the cultural identity of our neighborhood through our food, the the principles of the slow food movement. A little bit of rockabilly and retro combine with the kustom kulture of today, in an atmosphere devoid of Pretension.

It really was cool. Best night I have had in a long time. The bands youtube videos do not do them justice, they were incredible.

Congratulations guys! It’d be cool if I could somehow make it to the second-annual Rockabilly Romp event. A guy can dream, can’t he?

Of course you can dream Buster, but it would be very easy to make this dream come true. It’s called a ticket 🙂
