Tribute To A True Hep Cat: Nick Curran 1977 – 2012

My friend Libero Api has seen Nick Curran play several times, unlike myself who never had the honor. This young and talented man’s life was cut short last October due to Cancer. For myself and many others we will only experience Nick in videos, CDs, and pictures. While I will never know what it was like to see him perform in person, I’d like to think that are friend Libero has truly captured the essence of a young Rockabilly singer’s performance.

You can check out our tribute to Nick and another great performance captured by Libero from our article, “A Tribute To the Late Rockabilly Legend Nick Curran – Photos by Libero Api.”

About Sad Man's Tongue: Rockabilly Bar & Bistro - Prague

We are a Bar and Bistro where old school meets the new school, dedicated to preserving the roots of rock and roll and it's modern adaptations as well as preserving the cultural identity of our neighborhood through our food, the the principles of the slow food movement. A little bit of rockabilly and retro combine with the kustom kulture of today, in an atmosphere devoid of Pretension.
