Gina Carla’s “No Name Chicken Breast Burger W/ Cheese” – Cooking With A Pin Up Recipe # 9

picture 1 (2)

Pin Up Girl Gina Carla (1)We asked Gina Carla for a recipe over a month ago, but she was on a shoot in Austria and promised us one at a later date. However,  this lovely Swiss Pin Up Girl and model did take the time to answer a few questions for us here at Sad Man’s Tongue which you can read here, “Pin Up Girl and Model Gina Carla.”  As far as the recipe she really came through for us.

It was an early Christmas present when we opened our email to find not only this wonderful recipe and the photos for it, but also a video she made for us here at Sad Man’s Tongue.  It was also a Christmas present that was the Catalyst for Gina starting her modeling career in 2011 when she got for Christmas a book about Sophia Loren. So she dropped 20 kilos, believe it or not, and started what appears to be quite a career. With a smile like hers how could anyone resist her.

This class act beauty with a smile that could launch a 1000 ’57 Chevys has put a smile on our face and I am sure she will put a smile on your face as well with this recipe.

So lets start making this tasty delight. Take  a red onion and slice the onion into rings, about a 1/4 of an inch thick. Take a nice sized red tomato and slice the tomato also into 1/4 inch slices.

Of course you can slice everything to what ever size you want, but a 1/4 inch is perfect if you don’t have a slicer.

Now take your corn flakes and crush them as much as you can.

Be sure to have all your ingredients ready and in place so making the burger is quick and easy.

picture 3Now take the boneless and skinless Chicken Breasts and with  a pinch each of your spices, salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder, sprinkle over each chicken breast.

Now in three separate bowls place your flour, Eggs, and Crushed Corn Flakes in that order. Make sure the egg is beaten.

Now take a breast and thoroughly cover with flour, then place it in the egg and completely coat, then place the breast in the cornflakes until completely covered on both sides. Repeat this process for the other chicken breast.

picture 4Now in a pan place your oil and when the oil is good and hot place the chicken breasts in the pan and fry the chicken breast for 6 minutes or until done.

While the chicken breasts are cooking you can make your sauce. In a bowl place in your ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard. Wisk together until the ingredients are thoroughly combined.

picture 5Now take your bread and toast it. When the chicken is done it is time to build what you have made.

Take your bottom slice of bread and add a piece of leaf lettuce, then on top of that add two slices of tomato. Place one spoonful of sauce over the tomatoes and add your onion rings on top of that.

Place the cheese on top of the onions and then add your Chicken breast. To the chicken breasts place another slice of cheese and some more onion rings. One more spoonful of sauce and then the last piece of bread.

Gina says “You have a perfect Burger. Bite it and love it.” 🙂 Oh and trust us we will. But not as much as we would enjoy taking a bite out of you 🙂

Pin Up Girl Gina Carla (2)An absolutely HUGE THANK YOU to Gina for the over the top work she put into this for us and the awesome video. We are sure she will be an absolute success and we wish the best from the bottom of our stomachs 🙂 Be sure to vist Gina’s Facebook Page and become a fan, we are.
