JD McPherson Performs “Twinkle” On The Tonight Show With jay leno

By Sad Man’s Tongue

Roots rock and roll and rockabilly revivalist JD McPherson performed his original Christmas song last night on the Late Show with Jay Leno. This native of broken Arrow Oklahoma has restored our faith in rock and roll and even brought us some early Christmas cheer with this rockin’new Christmas jingle.

McPherson went on to say last night,

“I love the whole of Christmas: lights, cold weather, sentiment, poinsettias, baby Jesus, popcorn laurels, Santa,” McPherson says in a new release. “I even admire the well-tuned machine of commercialism. There are loads of holiday songs—only a handful of rockin’, rollin’ Christmas songs, though. So, here’s our offering.”

The song is now available on Itunes.
