There is a bigger relationship in the grand scheme of things besides the partnership between Pin Up Girl, Bondi Holly, and Miss Missy Photography out of Los Angeles. It’s the relationship a young mother has with her ill child and how through life’s hardships and diversity, love and perseverance can conquer anything.
I have not cried in a while but after reading Miss Missy’s bio I must admit I shed a tear or two. It is a story of such love and perseverance on her part for her daughter Lacy, who had a rare blood disorder, that truly inspires hope. This young mother spent most of her daughters early years making doctor and hospital visits, giving injections, and changing IV bags.
This is making me cry so I am just going to copy and paste the next part. Miss Missy goes on to say;
As a lonely young mother caring for a sick child, seeing spirited Baby Lacey smile while attached to hospital equipment inspired Missy to persevere. It was during this time Missy realized that the camera can capture a moment in time that would otherwise be lost forever. These precious moments were golden to a mother who didn’t know how long she had with her child.
Well Lacy’s health improved and Miss Missy started to turn the camera towards other people. In 2007 still living in Texas Missy took what money she had, a used camera, and 200 pounds of sand to create a vintage swimsuit themed shoot. That’s where it all started and only 4 years later Missy was headed to Los Angeles where she is now a sought after Pin Up photographer by celebrities, clothing companies, and just plain old regular folk like you and me. Dreams do come true and as long as there is love in your heart you can give hope to any situation and find yourself stronger for it.
