At the age of only 23 photographer Maja Topčagić, of Angelica Photography, was already a profound and gifted photographer. So much so that this young girl from Bihac, Bosnia would sign with Vogue Italia as one of their photographers. Pretty impressive if you ask us.
Maja says that what interested her most in becoming a photographer was “Capturing moments in time which cannot be repeated. They can be alike, but never the same.” Easier said than done I suppose, unless of course your Maja Topčagić.
Capturing moments in time, especially of a time gone by, such as vintage themes can be much easier when you add the beauty of another Bosnian vintage girl, Idda van Munster (Aida Đapo), whom we have been lucky enough to feature here before.
This dynamic duo of vintage beauty and world class photography makes believers out of us. When we view the lovely images we harken back to another time. A time that is reminiscent of Film Noir Movies, Mada Harri, and Audrey Hepburn. Dreams are made from this kind of magic, and we were lucky enough to see it.
Enjoy todays gallery and Idda’s blue eyes from this rockin’ band from Spain, Freddie and the Filos’ with their song “Blue Eyes.”
